In simple terms, CruzeCraze is a recreation game of a real-world simulation, designed to explore key elements of building, managing and operating a cruise ship.

Simulators can mean grappling with inventories, time mechanics, procedural world generation, and more. As such, they’re a great way to develop new game development and coding skills at the same time as creating an impressive new project that lets you live out your dream lifestyle.

Making a critically and commercially successful game requires a balance of various factors, including the obvious playability and entertainment value. However, simulation games are special in that they must also attempt to reflect an aspect of real life to a great extent. A good simulator must therefore manage to synthesize all these factors into one final high-quality product.

OUR STRATEGY

A company goes from being “good” to “great,” explains Jim Collins (and his years of research), by consistently acting at the intersection of three areas: 1) What you can be the best at, 2) What drives your economic engine, and 3) What you are deeply passionate about. For us this is the Sweet Spot, as it brings together our skills and talents with a concept we are passionate about.

01

Market research

Relentless research and documentation in Confluence to ensure we’re making the right game for the right people at the right time. Doing market research mitigates the risk that’s often associated with indie game development and allows us to identify the needs of our audience – so that we can deliver the game players crave. It takes the guesswork out of figuring out the unique selling point of our game.

02

Concept development

During this phase of the game development pipeline we define all the details of the game in Confluence. It’s the most important phase and so we will heavily invest in this phase. We are going to create a really quick game prototype, just to be sure that our game concept idea is going to work well and is fun.

03

Build A Strong Indie Game Development Team

Our team will cover all areas of game development including programming, art, design, sound, project management and business. Bliss Media Studio is led by founders with over 40 combined years of experience in web design and development, graphic design, photography and project management. We will contract out work needed to deliver a quality product.

04

PRODUCTION

The producers will work with the rest of the team to make sure that everyone is on the same page and that the schedule that they have created can be followed by the engineers, designers, artists, etc.

This is also the phase where we will start to do marketing and developing buzz for the game on Discord, YouTube and TikTok.

At the end of this phase we will have an Alpha version of the game. After the testing of the Alpha, we’ll call it a beta version. At this phase the game will be shipped to a large number of testers and we’ll listen to their feedback and fix all minor bugs that they report. At the end of this phase we should have a beta version of the game, which is: stable, fully featured and bugs free.

05

TIME TO SET SAIL AND SHIP

This is the time to get our game to an audience as large as possible. The marketing team  continue to work hard to get the game covered by magazines, blogs, youtubers etc.

This is also the phase where our development team will continue to improve the game in case new bugs will come out. Developers will also add new features to expand the game in order to increase the retention of the game.
